NO SUN YESTERDAY [insert sad face here]

to being sick within less than a day.

Bernice and I set out nice and early to Sentosa with every intention of tanning, but the sun did not agree and stayed behind the clouds for the entire time we were there, bugger.  So we decided to be tourists and triapse around Sentosa instead.  We got the 2 skylifts and luge rides for 16$ deal and discovered that the photographs they take on the skylift makes your legs look nice.  If the photographs were cheaper, we would've gotten it.  Unfortunately, it cost money to go everywhere in Sentosa so we ended up walking a lot, sitting on beaches looking at the water and being very random and listless.

Also, Bernice tried taking photographs of me while luging.  We did end up stopping in the middle of the track and taking photographs and yes of course we made sure that there was no one around to block.

Then we met Wanhui (looking stunninggg in those gladiators omg), Baobi and Marissa for Fame.  Fame's plot was quite disappointing, but the dancing was amaazing.  Whenever there was a tap dance scene, I would grab Marissa's arm and squeal silently because every. single. tap. was so clear even though the person was tapping so fast and it was just so brilliant.  There was no character development however which was especially disappointing ):  And and and I totally thought they were going to dance to "Fame" hence I sat forward in my chair in the last scene!  But they didn't so D: I kept chewing on my long candy and after the movie, I had a headache which I naturally attributed to the candy overdose.

Then we hit some shops for a little prom dress shopping, and nothing really caught my eye anywhere; if something did, it was too expensive.

Ohh and we met Joni, Samatha, Anna and Dorothy for the second time at Sentosa!  It was really funny because Bernice and I were in the tram and they started attempting to run after the tram, it was super funny 8D

Then I met my mum at Harbourfront where my headache really started to split my head in half and I developed a fever.  Wanhui's sweater saved my life because if I weren't wearing it, I would probably have shivered even harder than I already was.

Missed school today to see my doctor, and he said that if the teacher allowed it, I could go for the ISD trip (music to my ears) as I wouldn't be doing anything taxing and all I had was a fever (well "viral infection of the throat" is more accurate but whatever) anyway.  But I had to wear a mask.  Bugger.

Cabbed to school, discovered that they were postponing the trip, got annoyed, cabbed home.
