new update beyotches
so it's a week late but eat my ass.
Twenty for Seven spent their first 6 hours in the studio last saturday night. we did 4 tracks and from what i've heard they sound great. we have another 6 hours to punch in guitars / fix some spots and to do vocals. then it's all up to mr. chris bentley (owner/technician of bunker studios in cockeysville) to mix, master, and press our cd's.
we originally planned on doing "Knees Weak", "Fly Girl", "Rainin'", and "Broke My Heart"... but when we got to "Broke My Heart" chris told us that we either needed a click track (to keep us all in time) or a different song. i think he just wanted to hear some more of our stuff. he seemed to enjoy our sound. i.e. he was rocking out when he played it back for us. so we played it through 2 times and decided to scratch it all together. then we had a short discussion about what other song to put on since we had like 10 more to choose from and decided on a song called "Where You Wanna Be" which is brand new. we had written it maybe... 3 weeks before recording? i couldn't believe we were going to play it but it turned out great and it's going to kick your asses! odds are none of you have heard it yet unless you've been at practice this month. best part is that we nailed it in 2 takes! we rule! haha.
