I had a funny quote for the subject, but I forgot...

First, I gotta say, thanks to those of you out there that expressed concern at my away message earlier saying I was "Frustrated". Although, I gotta say, it does really show how shitty my dating life has been. My frustration was not due to Ashleigh, it was due to work. Work has gone to shit. Almost every manager position has changed in the last 2 months, and they're all fucked up. Things are insane in there, and it's a sinking ship. People are bailing left and right, and I'm hoping to follow. If you remember back to May, I applied for a supervisor position in Farmington Hills, but was turned down. Well, that position has reopened, and I immediately applied for it. I'm hoping that having a bit more experience, and having been moved to full time will help my chances. Cause it's either move to another store, or to another job. Work used to be fun, now it's just another annoying job with more of a headache than I care for.

With that out of the way, my life outside of work is good. Me and Ashleigh are wonderful...it's almost scary how well things are going. It hasn't been that long, but everything just feels so right with her. I've seen her every day since she got back from Ohio a week ago, and I haven't really had the feeling that I need to get away from her. And really, the last 4 days, we've been together non stop, and it's just been fun. We had a little "discussion" on Sunday, and this has become an actual relationship, or however you'd like to term it. And, she's lasted over 24 hours as my "girlfriend", and didn't lose her fucking mind, so it's going well. Too many quotation marks in there. Whatever...she's my girlfriend. There, better? More to the point, I have a lot of fun with her. She's sweet, and she actually gives a shit about me. It's not all about her, and I'm not used to that...but it's nice. Oh, did I mention, she's fucking gorgeous? Ok, enough. Yes, I know...we're sickeningly cute. C'mon, we did laundry together.

Hmmm, other news you say?

I saw Dodgeball finally. Fucking hilarious.

I also saw King's Ransom. That was funny too. Charlie Murphy is the shit.

I went to a beach in Walled Lake one night with Ash, and I got these bugs bites on my feet. I didn't think too much of them, but a week later, they're itchy as hell, and seem to be spreading. I'm wondering what's going on there.

The kickoff for the "I'm not getting paid for this shit tour" last Sunday did NOT go as planned. The club failed to communicate with me that the rules had changed, and like other clubs, you have to call ahead to get a spot on the list. Well, I show up, and find this out, so I called everyone to not come...I was on the waiting list in case someone didn't show, but it seemed unlikely that would happen. Well, it did happen, but my mind wasn't in the right place, so I was off. Still got laughs, so it wasn't a total loss. I've got one upcoming date, with more to come. If you are signed up to my mailing list, you'd know this already.

My dad lost his job, which really sucks. I'm trying to find him something now. We'll see how that goes. If anyone knows of ANYTHING, please send it my way.

I went to the park today, and went for a run. That's something I've been wanting to do. But man, it showed me that I have a long way to go. I'm not sure how far I ran, cause the park track doesn't seem to have any type of set length. I do know that I was tired. And that my legs hurt now. Oh well, it's good for me.

This is the first time I've been home in 4 days. It's almost weird to see the place. I miss sleeping on wooden crates and broken beds. :)

I'm sure there's more to type, but I still gotta kick out a mailing list update, and kick some ass on NCAA '06. So leave me a message, and tell me I'm wonderful.
