First lets start out with this who knows what diy is if u dont know then turn back cause this is about U. this music i love is startin to be over run with fashioncore kids who think they know what every thing is. excuse me for being an elitist but FUCK YOU that shit u hear on the radio those cds u buy from hot topic and stuff no thats not hardcore That bleech u put in ur hair to look cool and the cloths u buy so u can show off to ur friends so u can fit in thats fashioncore We as the youth have lost touch with what hardcore is we have put substance over the music we have forgot what the songs mean every thing has lost its meaning BUT as long as its a cool phrase we can put on a shirt and sport it that makes up for every thing. What bands do u listen to let me see if u answer that 18 visions underoath fata silverstein or any of those bands are "hardcore" then woops try again. True hardcore bands are Suicide File,Wrong Side,no warning,with honor,Mental,Black flag,minor threat,DrugXtest Righteous Jams,Madball,death threat,Comeback Kid, iron boots and tarpit(yo dave)things along those lines are true hardcore bands that sing about stuff that actually matters. Like problems in this world ,friendship loyalty,being straight edge(and while im on the subject lets clear some things up. No drinking no smoking and no fucking thats it when did it turn into if u walk the wrong way u broke edge its kids like that the ruin this for every one cause they give us the bad rep Now people think bein edge means bein vegan no sex Period and bein violent and hatin every one who aint edge. its bull i bet if Ian M. knew how cluttered this would become he would never have even begun it himself. People take a good thing and ruin it it sucks.)Slowly this thing i love is makin its way to the main stream.
