Two thoughts

1. 'Lost' confused me like it hasn't in a long time. Even last week's didn't mess with my brain so much as this one did. But the last part did make me teary out of happiness.

2. I finished reading Dragonfly in Amber tonight, by Diana Gabaldon. It's the sequel to the fabulous Outlander novel, and I want to recommend it to everyone. Oh my god, it was great. I laughed, I cried (alright, sobbed. Whatever.), and devoured the 950 pages in a week. Seriously. Get thee to a library or book store. You won't regret it. :)

OHHH! I can't believe I forgot to post this. My dad got the results from the biopsy the doctor did on the lump they found on his lung (near to where they found a cancer growth last year)... it was negative! So I'm guessing it's just scar tissue? They're still waiting on the results from the PET scan, which will show if there's anything elsewhere. BUT, he's gained weight, which is a good sign, because I guess normally cancer patients have a hard time gaining weight? I don't know. But I was so happy when Dave told me yesterday. (He had called my parents on his lunch) I was crying in happiness at work. I told Henelyne, "I'm so Portuguese sometimes!" LOL So yay. :D

Edited to add: The Boston doctors finally called this morning. The biopsy is indeed negative, and they're deeming the PET scan negative as well, although there is a small lump near his aorta that they'd like to keep an eye on, so he goes for another scan in three months. Oh, and he has mild pneumonia, which was a surprise to everyone, but it's not a concern unless he gets a fever. Odd. But happy!
