Oh, my heart was broken due to not reading the full sentence!
You guys all know that I have a huge non-sexual crush on Alton Brown. I decided to look at his webpage, when I noticed something about a 'Feasting on Asphalt' book tour. I instantly released a fangirlish squee, relishing in the idea of being in the same room as Alton.
Until I read this: "book tour, following the general path of the 2007 Feasting ride from New Orleans to Minneapolis."

AND THEN! I saw that he's going to be at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (an hour away!), and I start asking Dave if we could go, and, again, imagining being in the same room, when I saw the subject: "sustainable seafood choices".
The world is against me.
