"Your life is always a result of your thoughts about it--including your obviously creative thought that you seldom get what you choose..."

Funny how humans shy away from anything that gives them the power but flock to pity parties.  The idea of controlling your own destiny is mind boggling.  Being "victims" of fate is somewhat comforting though...knowing that we're just fate's bitches is fun...nothing is ever really our fault...what's meant to happen will happen no matter what...right?

Greek tragedies teach us that it is impossible to avoid the unevitable...but is it fate or our expectations of pure shit that screw us over in the end?  We're miserable creatures...why do idiot rappers get so fucking rich?  Because they were stupid enough to believe they could make it on what they spit out onto napkins while they're in jail.  Stupid? Or maybe they're a bunch of goddamn geniuses.

Maybe it's time we teach ourselves the difference between imagining and believing.  Maybe we should believe the crazy shit in our heads.

"To live your life without expectation--without the need for specific results--that is freedom."

Ever notice endings aren't as satisfying as the middle?  Not for movies...but life.  Doing and living is so much more rewarding and fulfilling than watching and remembering.  Living in the past is granting yourself constant heartache...it's living with regret and good intentions...which I believe paves the road to your own personal hell.  Living in a dream without doing anything about it is setting yourself up for constant dissapointment...do you really want to be miserable forever?

Have you ever lost yourself in something...in creating something...in solving a puzzle or problem...in life...for brief moments we experience euphoria...we are lost...we are all powerful.  Maybe life is just supposed to be inspiration and constant creation...and belief.  All stemmed from a crazy stupid nonsensical dream.

Maybe dreams are the blueprints for life.

Discovery is realization of the presence of the necessary tools...which were there all along.

"Being-ness is the highest state of existence"
