Once he is on his feet, Karkat grabs him by the hand and starts leading him (read: leaning forward and using gravity to give himself momentum and pull Sollux along as a counter-weight so that he doesn't do a faceplant) towards the seesaw.

So clearly the next best idea is to start from the middle. The yellowblood begins to climb onto the center of the seesaw, and then slowly wriggle his way upward toward the other end. This is how true coolkids get it done.
