Live report time... even though I suck at them.
We left at 5:00, doors were at 7:00, so we thought that'd give us enough time. Not really. We forgot Madonna was also in Michigan tonight and so there was a ton of traffic coming from Windsor. Therefore, it took us an hour to get through the tunnel and customs. Fuck you, Madonna.
So, we get there and had to turn around to get in a parking lot, but we ended up getting lost (yes, after we found Clutch Cargos lol). Finally making our way back, we parked and lined up. As usual, we got stuck by some seriously obnoxious people in line, but we were let in soon-ish anyways. So, we go in and I had will call tickets, so I had to pick them up. This is my first WTF of the night - I didn't get actual tickets, just those tickets you get at like, carnivals and shit that tear off a huge roll (ya know?). So yeah, not cool.
I had a pretty good spot on the floor, so I could see everything on stage. I thought The Human Abstract were actually quite good. I just don't get keyboards in a band, but aside from that they had a couple really great songs.
Dir en grey were so fucking fantastic I can't even begin to tell you. This was absolutely the best I've seen them. Great setlist, the members were all really energetic and acknowledged the crowd and Kyo sounded amazing. Merciless Cult was awesome, as was Obscure and Kyo's intro thinger to Conceived Sorrow. When he started that, I think a huge 'wtf' came over the audience, 'cause everyone went quiet for a the first little while. There was no moshing at all during Dir's set, but the crowd was pretty good otherwise. It's so weird... like, when I first started listening to Jrock, the idea of a band playing overseas was a crazy dream. The whole thing is just so awesome, I mean, I've actually been able to see my favourite band 4 times. Well anyways, I'll leave you with an out of order setlist and some crappy videos I took:

Cameras were no problem, lots of people were even using the flash and no one said anything. They weren't selling CDs. *gasp* I know. I mean, I guess there's a chance I could have missed 'em. but I went to the merch table twice. So, I don't think there was a meet and greet.
