Kian Kian 01: Life is but a dream

[Enter into this picture of supposed domestic bliss a sleeping Nana Komatsu, she's curled up in bed rather contentedly obviously having a marvelous dream if you were to judge by the smile on her face. Then, suddenly, she jerks awake her eyes wide with panic as she bolts out of bed and stumbles to the closet

Aren't you supposed to be happy in dreams?

Dream or nightmare, it all depends on how you look at it, I suppose.

Why would something like this be a nightmare? You'd have to have really weird dreams then, wouldn't you?

You haven't been here very long. Most of us would find being taken from our world and being deposited in one from which we can't escape to be very disturbing.

[She thinks it's a dream and so for a moment Nana just stares blankly at everything that Mia says. This is a dream or something like it right? So why such confusing talk?]

[Ignoring all that made sense in what Mia said, it's easy to do.]

Why would anyone want to leave such a nice area in the first place?

Well... most of us would like to go home.

[yourfaithfulpet]

Everyone has to wake up eventually. [Look at her, trying to be the sensible one for once.] You just have to be patient.

[bustydefense]

Some of us are better at that than others.

[yourfaithfulpet]

I guess that'd be true even in dreams.

[There's a pause before she brightens.]

We'll just have to figure out ways to help those that aren't coping right. Won't we?

[bustydefense]

Right!

Which might not be all that easy. There's some real cranky pants here, but that's okay! Perseverance is all it takes!
