Day #4 *public post*

Jun 21, 2005 13:41

Well, yesterday was day 4. (This is being written the day after).

Like I said in day 3, I hatched a scheme and yesterday Jazzy and I carried it out. We went to Monroe to meet the band and ,most of all, our boyfriends.

The day started pretty shitty, as I couldn't sleep at all that night. I was too anxious; so when I finally got to sleep- my dad wakes me up after about 3 hours and starts yelling at me to get a job. I don't know if I'm even staying in Lake Charles. There are just so many things..that I didn't think about really.

After that I couldn't sleep. I didn't wanna wake Jazzy up because it was around 7 in the morning. So I got in the shower and washed my hair and junk like that. I decided to get dressed and ready. Ended up calling Jazz around 10:00 and she said she had been up since 7 too, getting ready, she just didn't want to wake me up. Apparently, we both suffered from insomnia and anxiety that night.

Around 10:45 we left for Monroe. We figured the guys would beat us there because they had a shorter distance to drive then we did. Their drive was an estimated 4 hours while ours was 4.5 hours. We were supposed to get a call before they left... They left at 12:30...1 hour and 30 minutes late. For the time being, this didn't bother Jazz and I.

During the drive, Jazz and I bonded like nobody's business. It's crazy what being in a car for that long with make people say. We struggled after Alexandria to find a McDonalds to eat at(because before hand we didnt want to stop. We just wanted to keep on going till we got to Monroe), but soon came to learn that after Alexandria- there is NOTHING for 100 miles. [and that was the birth of the car country ouchita squeegee llama nozzle.]

but we finally did find out.and it was infested with flies and had a midget behind the counter. no bullshit.

Finally, around 2:30 we got the Paraground after getting lost in Monroe.Called the guys- they were 3 hours away because of traffic. -_-;; So we went to the mall.

We didn't get lost (yay for us). Victoria's Secret is having their semi-annual, so I hit that and then we went wondering around. We met a guy from the band Panda in Hot Topic. We talked about Settlefish and how bad ass they are. I called Matt right after I found out and they spoke to someone to arrange it.

Yeah, they're excited.

I also met this really strange character in a store called 'Romancing the Stone'. I forgot what his name was, but he just couldn't get the no vibe I'm guessing. He worked there and insisted on showing us a tour of the store. I said sure as it didn't seem to harmless and boy did I kinda regret it. lol. The 17 year old boy acted like he was on speed and constantly talked. I felt like I was in a history lesson and he kept hitting on us. Quite amusing. "You should come into town more often. When you do, lets hang out" Amusing. but no.

We went back to Paraground and they were like 20 miles away. Jazz and I sat on the stone loading area in the back of the parking lot and talked...and as we spoke we got really angry. It just felt like they didn't appreciate us driving so far to see them. They were 3 hours late! We could understand because of the traffic, but they felt late too. 1 hour and 30 minutes late.. it kinda just really tee'd us off. Needless to say, once Matt and Kirk got there it was a little rough in the beginning. But we all got over it and learned to just enjoy the time we had together.

The day, after that, was *great*. I really missed Matt (I know..it had only been 3 days..) and it seemed like he had, for once, missed me..It was really really nice... and we said everything we wanted to say.. and jazzy and i just hope they understood it.

Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I had done since I last told him goodbye. Plus for me, while at the Paraground, I didn't cry. We said goodbye and it left a little easier to do.. Followed them to the gas station and filled up for the ride home..and said goodbye again. Sitting in the driver's side, after he walked away, I turned to Jazzy with a shaky voice. "I will not..." and I cried.. but it didn't last long before I recollected myself and prepared for the ride home.

The ride home was shorter than the ride there it seemed. Jazz and I have more in common than I ever thought we did. Through Matt, Kirk, and just other things like tattoos and cutting and the way to handle things and feel things. It's really crazy. but then.. I went home.. and went to bed.. and here I am..

oh yeah, by the way.
