My smile is a sad shape...

The show last night was...... unbelievable. I need new pants. ;o

We got some really good seats (3rd row, to the right) especially since we got the tickets at the door for face value. (fuck you ticketmaster and your goddamn service charge)

The opening band was Neva Dinova and they were great. The guy looks like he's spazzing out when he's playing the guitar. It was really funny looking. The next band was pretty shitty tho. Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafters or soemthing like that. That was the most boringest 40 minute of my life. It was funny cuz when they annonunced it was their last song the place exploded. I really wish they brought along Tilly and the Wall instead of this country hoe.

Then finally after so much waitng, Bright Eyes "arrives". Conor played for like two hours, a lot of new stuff, and some older stuff too. Eveyone in the audience sang happy birthday to him, and he was drunk and funny. it was so amazing. He encored with 3 songs, (lua, true blue, and road to joy) and everyone stood up and stared in awe and was utterly blown away.

It was also funny when he played when the president talks to god. Some faggy bush lovers left. haha suckers. More Conor for the rest of us. =P

I'm sick as fuck, and i didn't get home until like 1am because we got stuck at the BART station, but i would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Conor Oberst.
