Things I liked about today:
I went to the Mac store because my Mac wasn't charging. I thought it might have been the power cord, but I wasn't sure, so I took it by to have them check on that and the battery. Actually, I took it on Sunday, but you have to make an appointment and they were full up then. Oh well. There was a little bit of a wait because I got there 40 minutes before my appointment, but they took me early. The guy who helped me was pretty cute. He tried my plug, then he tried the store plug and said "You just made my job really easy because that's the only problem." I bought it in March, so it was still under warranty. He just gave me a replacement plug, nothing to it. And none of that "Well if you want to play it safe, I can set you up with an extended warranty" bullshit. There was also a dusty old lesbian (I assumed) there, so I made up a story in my head about how she lived on a ranch and needed a computer to catalog the pictures of the palominos she breeds with her "sister." Ok, maybe you had to be there, but it kept me entertained for a while. There was also a couple there complaining about their iPhones not working, and after about 20 minutes, the guy who was helping them said "Ok, I just called AT&T and they said you're not getting any signal because your bill is way past do." I laughed inside until I heard the woman say "So...can we get replacement phones or what?"
Things I did not like about today:
I was IMed by a random person. At first, I thought it was someone playing a joke on me, but he just kept talking to me. I don't know how he got my screen name, or if it was a random crossing of wires, but I just thought "whatever" and I went about my business. But he wouldn't shut up. I ended up blocking the guy because I was in the middle of homework, and I told him I was busy, but would not leave me alone. I told him repeatably that I was annoyed, and yet he persisted. Fucker, I gots business to attend to.
