Flying post to say - I downloaded an ebook reader to my laptop, in order to read a book I could only get in ebook format, and then discovered that fic from AO3 can be downloaded in this format too. Seems like a good way to tackle longer fics (which I used to print out to read - I know, phillistine - but by "used to" I mean "when I lived at home and printing was free," so a couple of years ago). I'm starting with Dangling Conversation by loupgarou (Snape/Harry) which - isn't that long actually? But I find reading on AO3 a bit trying, so hopefully this will be an improvement.
