Fandom thoughts today
So, 'Spy in the House of Love' made Adelle DeWitt my new biggest fandom crush to the nth degree. She got shot and DIDN'T EVEN FLINCH, okay? I do so like an icy woman hiding a bit of vulnerability.
Dollhouse is so much better than I thought it would be, but it's getting ridiculous, the lengths they are going to to ensure that we see Echo in her bra every episode.

Half Blood Prince = best HP film. I really, really disliked the first few, for the most part, and have been ambivalent about the last few, but this one was a joyous viewing experience. Why is DanRad so much better at acting when he's pretending to have drunk Liquid Luck? My favourite thing about this film: "Pincers!" I need a gif of that moment like, yesterday, and I don't even like gifs.
Bellatrix continues to invade people's (including her nephew's) personal space to the point of sexual harassment. She also appears to haev adopted a cockney accent. Snape continues to have inappropriate sexual chemistry with everyone, especially Harry (that moment on the stair! The long look!) but also Draco. When he pushed him against the wall in the corridor, I thought for a split moment they were actually going to kiss.
"Oh, Severus!" Snape and McGonagall are totally BFFs. Maggie Smith continues to be awesome.
Harry/Ginny is even worse in visual form. I can accept that Snarry was never going to be canon, but why couldn't he get together with someone like Luna - who he has actual conversations with? Things in common with? Am I asking for too much here?
Ron was amazing, as always, though worrying, he is looking kind of attractive these days?
Thought Dumbledore's death was treated really well. It actually had more emotional impact on me than in the book.
Not looking forward to the next film at all... I'm not sure if I can deal with the all the camping, Ron-moping, and Harry failing to be a pro-active protag. But I will ~persevere, because this was my first real fandom and I am nothing if not masochistically devoted to it.
