Who's the sucka now, SUCKA!?!?!
Yeah thats right! The same phrase Pam and I used when the Rangers beat Erie, and its back again! We beat Owen Sound! I usually try not to team brag, but we swept them! Totally unexpected and it rocked our freakin' socks off! I LOVED IT! It was so much fun! The games mostly weren't too intense, except last nights... that was intense for sure! And running up to the ushers at the Sum 41 concert on Saturday asking if anyone knew the score was pretty crazy, but I did it...we did it, all in the love of hockey. Plus, a small mention I think pertaining to Pam and I was in the newspaper. It said something along the lines of "Pre-tweens, music lovers and hardcore Ranger fans alike..." (showed up for the Sum 41 show) and I'm pretty sure Pam and I are the only nutty people to go and find ushers during the Sum 41 show to find out the score of a OHL game (and how Adam is doing!)
We stood right beside the player bench... well... there was about 7 - 10 feet and a usher blocking me from Marky - Mark. What an experiance. First of all, the funniest thing... one of the trainers works at the same place as my dad, and its really fun to talk to him, grandted it was only the second time I've actually talked to him. But now I'm sure he'll remember me! He told me "You've grown up nicely" since he's known me "since you were a little munchkin." He was also shocked when I told him I was 21, it was kinda cool! For the rest of the game when he'd come back from intermissions, he'd try to elbow me in the face, very humerous :) Maybe he can hook me up with a Adam autograph on... one of my cards or something?
The usher guy was pretty creepy. Everytime Pam or I would go to look down at the other end of the ice, which obviously you had to look the same way as the players bench, he would glare at us. It was way strange and I didn't really like it too much, but hey... if he wanted me to jump Marky - Mark or something, it can be arranged ;) lol
I honestly don't remember the game too much, how horrible is that? I think its because I was really excited and wanted them to win, so naturally it left my mind. Our goals were pretty good though, this I do know. And Little Worm (yes we... well Pam came up with that), is a weird weird person... that is for sure.
Standing by the bench is cool. Litterly. It's very cold sitting there as opposed to any other ice level seat, or in the stands. I think probably becuase the players bench is right there and everyones always coming and going ya know?
It was a really awesome game though, and I had an awesome time. It was alot of fun. I even took pictures on my camera phone. I haven't put them all on my computer, but I put two... so here they are:
the lovely Adam.
and the talented Mr. Richards
Wonderful aren't they? Yep yep.
Honestly thats all I can really think of writing about. OH WAIT! On the way home Pam's dad was driving us and there were these guys in the car beside us... and I have this REALLY bad habbit of looking in the car beside me, I do it all the time. Anyways so the driver noticed and started looking back at us so I looked away and started blushing. Then I looked back after Pam did and they were laughing and his friend in the passanger seat was leaning over him looking out the window. Then they rolled down there windows and were waving out them and stuff, so we started to wave too, it was pretty funny... okay... REALLY funny! But I swear thats it.
Oh right, except for those of you who know... if Adam looks at me one more time... it's a weird weird thing... and why isn't it stopping? I don't know. Everywhere I see him he looks... he was going to sit down on the bench and he looked! Like what the heck?!
Which one do you like better? I need honest opinions!
