I lay on the ground, eyes closed. Right now I didn’t want to see white. I want to see black. Black; unknown, sinister, shadowed. I grin so hard my cheeks hurt While is peaceful but black is fun.
But then someone pushed my door open, disturbing my peace. This was one of the few times I got to see. “Jeffery,” I smiled. “How are you today?” I watched as his eyes drifted to the right as he set my food down, talking. “Really? That’s nice. How’re your kids?”
Again, his eyes drifted to the right. “Fabulous. And your wife? You two doing alright?” Ah, bingo. Finally to the left. I stood up gracelessly, grinning “You know, Jeffery, liars turn me on.”
