i will just say a few short things before i sleep.
intel sucks. i am just a teeny bit stressed right now.
whoever cheats seriously deserves to burn in hell forever! especially the people who cheat in torrence's class, because i dont have time to study for a retake!
politics in general depress me. i am neither a republican nor a democrat, but i am glad dems took the house. i just think the republicans aren't doing a good job right now, and i want to see change. i think that i probably lean towards conservative with the exception of the big social-ish issues. namely, gay marriage, abortion sort of, and stem cell funding. that is probably the single issue (other than obviously the whole stupid war dealie) that i care the most about, because it's one that i think all the arguments i've heard against it are completely indefensible. i think that as someone who does bio research, i'm not so much biased as informed. i think that a large percentage (not all!) of those opposing embryonic stem cell research are uneducated on the topic, and have absolutely no experience in the field.
no offense intended, but i don't think that the opinion of some random farmer in the middle of nowhere should be considered equally with that of an educated scientist on a topic that requires at least a small amount of detailed knowledge on the topic. unlike topics such as the war on iraq or gay marriage, or even abortion, on which legitimate opinions can be formed with less detailed knowledge.
(and by educated scientist i don't mean me. i just realized after writing it that i sound kind of arrogant. but i don't mean to!)
anyway, i am tired. i am pissed at cheaters and lazy people and deadlines. and i really don't want to talk any more about politics, so please, please don't comment on this entry about anything political.
