This thanksgiving weekend must be recorded writing.

Wednesday: I ate sushi amongst great company at the most authentic looking joint eva. We were loud and threw chop sticks. I ended up at a party put to get in an hour over sushi. Put a Mickey hat and toilet paper on a Christmas tree which was strategically placed on a bed. I took my first shot of anything; Patriot bay, the captain showed me the way! One Smirnoff later I was sitting in front of an enormous bon fire as crazy kids continuously fed it. Had it not been for the cold, the drinks and the lovely lady by my side, I’d be far too concerned about keeping my eyebrows. After secret moments in not so secret rooms, I feel asleep in a strange house. Woke up at 3am had a great conversation to the sounds of throw up in the background.

Thursday: I messaged everyone with “Happy Gobble Gobble”. I don’t have free texting, so appreciated it bi%@^es! I had dinner with the family, fought with my mom, played chess with my nieces. I went to a thanksgiving bash saw a 70yr old womans’ titi. Not cute.
Felt like being alone. Made table art out of kalua shot glass wrappers. Danced and eat like I was fake smiling.

Friday: Moved out of my house, found statuary in my new home and had a very socially awkward lunch/dinner.

Saturday: I was crushed by my latest crush. Had way too much to drink, flirted over fondue with a black haired, blue eyed, Canadian named Nina. We ended up on a couch making out in the middle of a field. It was undeniably a moment I will recall even on my death bed. The night could not be more perfect. I am seeing her tonight and I look damn good!

Sunday: Shopped for the bear essentials, painted with Ricky. A 2 hour long conversations with an old friends and I found hope and comforting in their passions. So far the best part of living on my own is the assurance that the things I hide in tiny places will remain there, untouched, until I care to move them.

I feel alive, in love, brave and I have the cuts and bruises to prove it.
