I need a Glee icon
Finally got around to watching 2.16 and I just have to squee about it! OMG Kurt and Blaine! So, now I'm scared for them. As I understand it, having missed most of this season, these two are on a Rachel-and-Finn level wrt the show's focus, and that doesn't seem to go well. I mean, there's no Quinn/Teen Pregnancy thing, but they Kurt still has issues and Blaine is his first bf and Blaine is SO in love with him, I mean "Oh, there you are, where have you been forever" OMG. Also, this show has a habit of taking characters I adore, making them unspeakably cute together and then ripping them apart. I really don't want that to happen to them a la Finn/Rachel, Puck/Quinn, Emma/Will, bloody everybody!
And speaking of Quinn, wtf show? I really liked Quinn's personal arc last year, she made proper progress and while I understand the reasons behind her action; she made it pretty clear to Rachel that a boring, safe, middle-class life in OH is all she thinks she can hope for, she has to know that what she's doing is hurting Rachel and my impression of her character at the end of s1 was that she was better than that. All this scheming and prom queening seems very early s1 to me. That said, I have hope for her based on her reaction to Finn hugging Rachel at regionals. Theirloveissocute, Quinn, please let them be!
*sporfle* to Will's phone call with Holly, I really hope she comes back at some point, I thought Gwynneth Paltrow was awesome and she and Will are adorable together.
Santana/Brittney continues to kill me. I'm not normally a femslasher, but this pair are just breaking my heart.
Idk, it seems like, once again, the show is gearing up to bring everyone together in time for the last episode, which would make me happy, except that they did that last year and then, as far as I can tell, spent most of the start of the next season breaking up everyone who had been together at the end of s1.
Also, again, I may have missed this, but I would like to see Kurt spending time with his old friends more. And more of Kurt and Finn being brotherly, Finn standing up for Kurt in his Lady Gaga outfit was one of the best moments of s1.
