Nero is the son of Rokudaime Hokage and the leader of the ANBU, so he has a lot to live up to. The kyuubi's powers that were passed on to him affected his eyesight, and by age seven he was totally blind. But thanks to a technique taught to him by his aunt, he can see using the air currents.
He is quiet and incredibly shy, and doesn't make friends easily, but the friends he does have he treasures greatly. He can be very naive at times, and doesn't always know what's going on.
