Anybody have plans for the long week-end?
Hey Kids, Just wondering if anyone knows of anything going on party-wise over the long weekend? I work all weekend so I can't throw anything but I'm more than willing to suffer through one hellish shift or two hungover if there's any possibility of partyage.
Oh I also want to put out an APB (anxious plea for benevolence)for any aspiring poets out there. I have to attend the Hamilton Poetry Society's reading tomorrow at the Central Public Library. Well not just attend but actually get up there and present something. If anyone knows me they'll know I have not a creative bone in my body and am totally lacking in poetic talent. So the prospect of getting up infront of all these people kinda terrifies me...especially knowing I'm gunna have to get up there and read some half-assed piece of crap I threw together 10 minutes beforehand. If anyone has anything lieing in a drawer somewhere they feel like contributing please please do. Or if u have any tips you can share that'd rock too. Or if you just want to show up to laugh at my discomfort the thing is being held in the Hamilton Room which is one of two rooms in the main lobby before you go in at 6:30pm tomorrow.
Last thing: The Coheed concert is drawing ever nearer and we still dont have our hotel rooms booked. Anyone who's involved in this outing should contact me soon so we can get this arranged.
