Warning: What your about to read is a little... yeah. It's a story
Kiera sat at her vanity. She looked from her golden antique hairbrush to her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a light pick and black lace tank top with matching boyshorts. Kiera had beautiful emerald green eyes and waist lenth wavy choclate brown hair.
Staring into the mirror Kiera continued to brush her hair. A small glimmering brought tears to her dulled eyes. How could he hurt her like that? And more importantly, how could she have let him? They had been engaged....
Kiera shook her head as the tears fell softly. She thought Jordan really loved her. Her hands shook, and she dropped her hair brush. She ould still feel Jordans touch. Had it really only been two weeks since Jordan cheated on her and left her?
Kiera could still feel the way his lips brushed hers, the desire and heat that flashed through her at his touch. How he could take her breath away one moment and have her screaming the next.
Kiera set down down her brush and slowly began to braid her hair. Jordan liked her down, it was easier to pull. Kiera thought of the last two weeks as she continued braiding. Guys had asked her out and felt her up. But she didn't respond to their touch as she had Jordans. Instead of feeling loved, cherished, and beautiful she felt repulsed.
She twisted her elastic ponytail around the end of her braid and walked over to her bed. She loved him with her all... if only that was enough. As Kiera laid in bed and drifted off to sleep, she could have sworn she had felt him lay down beside her. Cuddling up to her and wrapping his arm around her like he used to. She had hoped sleep would be her escape, but even her dreams took her back to him.
----
Kiera sat at a table, wringing her hands nervously. She was at a local resturaunt. Kiera';s eyes brimmed with tears as jordan walked to the table nd sat down across from her.
"Hello Jordan."
She said in a quiet voice, not able tolook him in the eyes.
"Kiera. You said you had something important to talk about."
His voice was hard and cold. A server brought ou her tea and Jordan ordered buffalo wings. Kiera sipped her tea.
"You look good Jordan."
Jordan growled at her.
"Stop with the pleasntries Kiera. I am only here because mike said it was important."
She shot him a cold look.
"You could at least try to be civil."
Jordan laughed.
"I don't have time for more games Kiera. I'm meeting Faith in half an hour."
Kiera started to say something, but stopped as the server brought out Jordans hot wings. All the colour drained from her face and she sipped her tea.
"Are you okay?"
Jordan asked cautiously. She looked at him, surprised. He actually sounded like he cared.
"Well, actually... that's what I need to talk to you about."
She paled a little more, and began wringing her hands again. The tears that had been threatening began to fall. This is a mistake... Jordan looked at her, trying to stay cold. But damn, he hated to see her cry.
"What is it, Kiera?"
Slowly Kiera looked at him. She swallowed hard and bit her bottom lip.
"I... I...."
Jordan growled at her again.
"Enough games, Kiera. I have to go meet Faith."
Jordan called over the server and had his food wrapped up. He stood to leave.
"Jordan, wait.. please."
Her voice was pleading. She stood to face him. Kiera closed her eyes and began clutching the table.
"Stop, Kiera. No more theatrics."
She began crying harder.
"Jordan.. I'm pr... I'm... with.. ch..i..l..d....."
Kiera fell over backs, unconscious. Jordan rushed forward, ctaching her a moment before she hit the ground.
----
Kiera opened her eyes slowly. Her head was pounding and her stomach was doing backflips. She looked up, noticing she was in her own bedroom.
"Don't move, stay lying down."
Jordans voice was hard, but somehow caring. Kiera kiijed and saw him sitting across her room. This room was the pride of her little apartment.
"Were you serious? Are you carrying?"
Tears pricked Kiera's eyes as she nodded slowly.
"How long have you known?"
Kiera bit her lip again.
"A few days. I was late, but.. that's not unusual. So after two and.. a half weeks...I ...I.. took the test... two of them actually...."
She stopped for a moment. Kiera went to speak again, but when she opened her mouth no words came out. Only heart-wrenching sobs.
"I... know how it.. hurt you.. So.. I .. I had to... to tell you..."
To be continued.
