another shooting?
has the world always been this crazy, or am i just more aware of world issues than people 200 years ago?
33 people shot at a university? again? what a waste.
and congress didn't ban assault weapons? why?
though there are a lot of terrible things about japan, and i've read about horrible things happening all over the world, i do find it hard to imagine that sort of thing happening anywhere else in the world.
here is the $50,000 question: are we going to label this as a terrorist act? if not, why not? had it been a suicide bomber and not a suicide shooter, would we look at it any differently?
my guess is that we'll figure out who this kid was, dig up all kinds of awful things about his past history, and declare it a sad day in american history. i think that's what we did the last time.
