For Your Entertainment & Stuff...
Since I slept off and on all day and captain_phil had the busy job of beer steward, he showered and went to bed earlier than I did. When I got upstairs, to go to bed, I turned the air conditioner down 3 degrees with the remote control that beeps each time you push a button. Phil woke up and said "Where's the Coffee?" LOL! He couldn't figure out why I was laughing. In Phil's "waking up" world, the coffee maker beeps when the coffee is ready. Phil didn't remember this even happening when I told him about it this morning.
We stuffed ourselves over breakfast at Golden Corral. I reached across the table to retrieve a blonde hair from Phil's beard...surprisingly, he dubbed it a bluebird feather. *aww*
We made a Speeway Stop for fountain sodas, the Sunday paper and a $5 Lucky 7s lottery ticket...mine has the numbers that will be drawn on August 13th...*wishful thinking*
Time for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard in Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Dale Jr. is in the lead and Tony Stewart's in second. 5 cautions with some cool crashes, 5 lead changes & two loads of laundry later, here we sit at the snackbar...waiting out the commercials, clearing of debri and the green flag...
btw, no beer face made when I tried the Horse Piss Beer...and I took two sips instead of one...hmmm. I'm givin' it two thumbs up!
