kids are geniuses. they aren't coated and soaked in this abstract, absurd set of rules called "logic." they see the world as they want to see it--that's the way the world was meant to be. oh, these adult-like realists: how religious they are and they don't even realize it. logic is just a boring religion. so fuck religion.
when a kid makes a toy out of his hamburger and a joke out of the bag that the hamburger came in, suddenly it makes more sense than anything else you've ever learned in your entire life.
children know everything. the secrets to the universe. we all do until we grow boobs and put our barbies in the attic (or balls and hot wheels? emphasize question mark). before then, we were capable of being pirates in the backseat and really truly believing we had to stay on the couches because the floor was made of lava. now when we try these things we have to "pretend." youth doesn't even fucking NEED imagination. because that's what it is.
