You talk like you want to steal my drink

The Fear Factory gig, then. Got to City late enough to miss Misery Index (no loss, I hear), but in time to catch everyone's favourite support band Breed 77. They're rubbish, aren't they? Sorry squeeface, I know you love them, but they were crap, even worse than normal. Can't play, can't sing, one gimmick and Machine Head did it better. altarsofgrrness has a conspiracy theory as to why B77 get so many support slots, Rock City love them because as soon as they come on, everyone goes to the bar. They'll never get a headline slot, thank God. Then Fear Factory, who played for an awfully long time and were really quite boring. And Burton can't sign, at all. Sure he can growl when he's warmed up, but he can't hold a proper note for love nor money. And finishing on 'Timelessness' was a great idea, right until he backed away from the mic, leaving the vocals playing 'Britney' C Bell, anybody. Still, nice to see chemistrybecci, notgothdammit and Preacher Phil enjoying themselves.

Post gig, decided against my better judgement (and under harassment from Frankie and pornstarbarbie) to go to Obsessions, which in an attempt to stop people spending all night in the pub, is now free before 11pm yet £3 afterwards. Didn't stay too long, only enough for Alex and Tabby to write 'emo' on my arm in UV marker, and vampiric_monkey to live up to her name by biting my arm. Had a rock n' roll early night at about half twelve.

Today we've been battling the endless hordes of .eu failed registrations at work. Tonight I'll probably be meeting people for a drink before the Anthrax gig, not that I'm going, mind. Does anyone apart from shallowthing think they made a mistake in getting rid of John Bush?
