You got style but ain't got soul

Last night's UoN RockSoc gig at J7 went down fairly well, 'mad props' to wordsfromrob, stickyvu, killerrrcocopop and whoever else orgnaised it. First up were Stuntmen, the only band I have ever seen who asked 'are there any Yes fans in the house'; they were ok, but too prog for my tastes. Long Time Dead were ace metal. Drag The Lake were heavier than I usually bother with, but entertaining stuff. El Cielo were a bit disappointing; I liked what they were doing, and they did it well, but they just didn't hit the spot for some reason. Maybe I was tired, I don't know.

Pretty late night for a school night, as after the gig I went home, ate, and stayed up watching MST3K shorts on Google Video (if you haven't yet, go view, trust me). I must also apologise to akatheesia, who was complaining she wasn't credited for putting me on to it's wonders. Sorry, Emma :)

Anything else? Well, no, not really. Although I'm a bit more lively outside work than usual, with various projects underway and on the horizon. This is a good thing, and long may it continue.
