So, is anyone actually enjoying Wednesday nights in Walkabout? I went down yesterday briefly to wish a happy birthday to lost_in_moose and to Tom about Assault next year; and unless the music gets a lot better, and the night gets big enough to push out the regulars (who all seem pretty nonplussed when anything that isn't GnR or ACDC is played) then I can't see it succeeding beyond when the students return. I will be happy to be proved wrong. Also thanks to shallowthing who has furnished me with two CDs of music from and 'inspired by' the Mortal Kombat movies. Awful films, yes, but some great techno/industrial/rock stuff to listen to.
More gym tonight, I think. Although yesterday evening's session made me sleep until about half ten at night so I'm not yet sure. In fact, the more I think about it, the less likely I am to go.
