It's my birthday and I'll blog if I want to
A huge thank you to all of you who've messaged me today, you're all lovely :)
A few people have asked if I'm doing anything, and to be honest I wasn't going to. It's Monday today, which doesn't make for the best night out. Still, if anyone wants to come help me celebrate getting older in the time honoured fashion of pouring alcohol down my neck until I think I'm charming, I shall be touring Nottingham's hostelries this coming Friday (18th). Details? When I think of them. Probably start in the Speak Easy and spend most of the evening in the Salutation. I know it's not exciting or different, but with my advancing years I get scared by the prospect of anything new. Leicester people, I will be celebrating again at Redeemer on Saturday the 19th :)
Oh, and to avoid a repeat of previous years, I'm not having more than three types of booze in a glass at one time. And nothing with Baileys in ;)
