You also have more ambient light there... one problem with the other ones (and yes, this is where I pretend I know what I'm talking about for 2 minutes) is that the ratio of direct light to ambient was too high, so you got very deep shadows everywhere.

I think the ambient light is solely down to the white backdrop :)

Yeah, that would go a fair way towards diffusing the light around a bit.

there was no ambiant light really. The bult of the lighting was from the flash which im still working on.

seriously though the whole thing does seem to be working much better now that you haven't got the black backdrop swallowing all the light.

Speaking of light i think they seem a bit cold, i dont mean the models i mean the lighting itself. Dunno if that's the effect you were going for.

Still all good, Andys really getting the hang of this photography lark isn't he.
