Admittedly, i utilized a number of my nick-names and handles before this one... my AIM name Ctrled Darkness was the most powerful so i chose it ^_^
Its been alittle over a month so i figured it would be wise to at least attempt an update since i've apparently aquired new readers. I certainly wouldn't want to dissapoint my public now would i? Of course not! Its been a trying experience since i last wrote... work has been unbearably frustrating and i'm about to brandish one of the mops to assault certain unnamed "regulars." I'll spare you the hellish details of my day job... and move on to more important matters of discussion for the time being though.
I could ramble on about what i've been up to exactly but this morning i have some ACTUAL factual stories of life experience to lay down... a rare occasion indeed for the reclusive yours truely. I suppose the best place to begin would be my trip to South Carolina where i visited my dad, none of this is neccessarily in chronological order mind you. Picture if you will... a ten hour drive, two girls that haven't the slightest thing resembling a taste in music, said girls puffing up ciggarettes every other half hour (I was forced to endure SO MUCH smoke during this trip because of the close family quaters that i've lost a good 7 years of my life and possible aquired 2 forms of lung cancer), not to mention my two sisters (Bridgette and Colleen) both have the inner direction of lemmings... they'd walk off a cliff if a mall was at the bottom. Needless to say... the car ride wasn't exactly fun... but the numerous snacks my mother packed and a few i bought along the way made some parts tolerable (Mmmm... cheese nips.)
In order to save time i will sum up the car ride to South Carolina in a paragraph or two rather then reveal the mis-adventures completely. I was forced to work the day we were supposed to leave, so that was irritating. Managing to get off some thirty minutes early and bookin' home to double check my luggage as well as clean myself up some... Bridgette arrives and with the usual "difficulties" we manage to load up the trunk and fit in everything we need, of course... this is MY FAMILY so they manage to lock the keys in the trunk and you can probbaly guess that was a fun 20 minutes of un-packing EVERYTHING so we could unfold the back seat and retreive the keys. Despite this we set off to say goodbye to Bridgettes boyfriend all the while Colleen peppers me with ashes due to her COMPLETE ignorance concerning the properties of smoke and how it carries in other directions then the visable grey whisp.
At LAST we were on our way.. and the trip was relatively peaceful unless you count the dangerously thick fog, weird black people staring at us while we pit-stopped at gas stations, the rap music i had to suffer through, dear lord the bathrooms at the before mentioned gas stations, and so many other pleasant memories. I'm not entirely without empathy however... and spending time with my two sisters did constitute some kodak moments and laughter, it wasn't so bad and 600 miles later we were in South Carolina looking at a midget who was loitering outside a bank.
The details of the SC trip are unimportant and tedious... so i shall also summerize the activities i engaged in. The first day there we hugged and said hi to dad, got the key to his place and went there to get settled in. Bridgette and Colleen went to the beach, i refused to go because truthfully i'm not a huge fan of the beach. Sand gets in everything, who knows what will crawl into your sandals, some people stare at me for no apparent reason, i don't tan... i just burn, and worst of ALL... my hair gets fuzzy... and i hate having my hair fuzzy. At any rate... i simply took a shower, watched alittle Tv and then nodded off till that evening when my dad came home and we went out looking at a few sights as well as picking up some groceries. Obviously more happened... but i hardly consider everything i do note worthy.
The following day i caved and spent a couple hours at the beach with my sisters (It sucked, and i smelled like salty dish rag for the majority of that experience) and we took turns catching waves on a board Bridgette purchased. I cannot believe someone could charge 2000 dollars for a surf board... let alone that people would actually PAY for it. That has to be one of the single biggest scams in the history of bullshitting, its just a large hunk of wood. During my remaining time in South Carolina, we took in some of the sights and ate at alot of really nice restraunts... though i still ordered cheese burgers and pizza at them... ^_^() what? It was during these excursions that we skimmed through a flea market on the street and my dad bought me a black cane with a coiling dragon for a handle... what makes it cool is that it twists out into a blade. Naturally everyone took alot of pictures on this trip and speaking of which i still haven't finished up with the ones i promised ^_^() but i've taken quite a few so don't get pissy alright? I'll get around to them... eventually.
In the interest of time (Once again) i'll finish up writing about my trip in my next entry. So its "to be continued" for the time being. Moving on... i've been adhering to a dependable work-out schedule lately and it was going rather well till i hiked to the mall (Its several miles of hopping fences and dodging traffic) and strained my calves to the point where they feel like wooden blocks linked up by rope. My new schedule is merely a basic outline that i make sure my daily activities hinge on:
Morning:
- Jog around for 30 minutes
- Shower/Shave/Brush Teeth
- Breakfast
- Game time, baby
Noon
Lunch Break:
- 50 Sit-ups
- 50 Push-ups
- 50 Jumping Jacks
- 50 Squats
- Lunch & Snacks
- Attend to Charlie's cage
- Check email / Web comics
- Write in livejournal (The only one i have trouble with)
Night:
- 100 Jumping Jacks
- Weight Lifting ~ 50 reps (With a bunch of phone books since i don't own weights)
- 50 Squats
- Shower/Shave/Brush Teeth
- Dinner
- Sleep
Its not written in stone of course, but i try to make sure my day follows along the lines of this schedule. Although i wont be able to jog for the next day or so (Dammit) i can still manage some painful sit-ups and push-ups so i wont be facing an entire downtime. As usual when i DO have something to write its always far too much for a single journal log so i will update again soon with a continuation (and further goodies for you to enjoy.) Till time,
- Freddie
