This "city" is no Metropolis, by name at least. In all the world I've never seen anything like this, a nexus of activity from all sides of the universe, supposedly. I keep thinking to myself that it can't be real, that there must be a rational explanation for this, like the Porsche. And Clark.
"I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion. "
So which is it here? Or is it something else, something on a higher level of analogy and parallel? But what is higher? Maybe it's lower on the spectrum, more primitive, subtle. Dead people walk like the living here and the living can die but not really die if parameters provide. Deals can be struck with so-called deities, but the proof of their status as such is highly questionable. What do they mean exactly? Is it purely an issue of power, or does it strike off into the area of immortality like so many gods supposedly must?
What's a true god?
I always figured that if he was willing, one day maybe I'd know, but until that day came, I decided I'd rather depend on mankind. Certainly man can be traitorous, disappointing, obnoxious, but this can be said of many things and man also has the ability to be everything that is forward-moving and sometimes dangerously tenacious, callous perhaps in strength and number, name and face. We are the beginning and the end of our own worlds, because without us who is left to know anything at all? And in the end who is the last one standing?
It doesn't matter all that much unless he has other people sitting around him.
You probably wouldn't agree.
I'd say I hope you're doing well, but I'm trying to lie less--I'm running the risk of becoming you, after all, dad. It's better to cut bad habits off at the head.

Since I'm addressing the entire network, I'll preface this with the fact that I'm aware that you've probably heard this before, considering the normality of the question, but I'm hoping that you'll be kind enough to indulge a man anyway.
So, question:
Are there any places here that specialize in different kinds of coffee? If so, name them, and if not, I guess I'll have to settle for a cafe for the time being. Granted, they have their charms, but I'll be the first to admit I'm on the spoiled side when it comes to my daily dose of caffeine.
