AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
So, this is it. My first day as a real teacher with my own classroom, students, lessons, etc.
I am SO nervous. I have been up since 5 AM, freaking out. My room loves lovely, and I am as prepared as I could be right now, even if I would like a couple more things photocopied (damn the photocopier!).
I hope my students are nice to me. That's all I really want. They can be below grade level and not know their times tables, just please, please, please don't be mean.
I look like a total goof too. Button down striped shirt and khaki pants. Lame. Oh, I am a teacher.
