Happy Anniversary
This weekend Bonnie and I had a party to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. It worked out nicely that we were able to hold the party on our exact anniversary date!
We rented a pavilion at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE, and even though they were calling for thunderstorms in the late afternoon the weather ended up being perfectly beautiful all day. We did run into thunderstorms on the drive back to Lancaster in the evening, but that was well after the party was over :P
It was great to see everyone who came - including some people we haven’t seen in years! There was grilling (I hope nobody died of my cooking!) and games, and hanging out and just talking with folks we don’t often get to, and we ended up closing down the park. It was a long and tiring day, but more than worth the effort.
