I had a most marvelous weekend. A few happy images remain fresh in my mind: Neal's I-am-trying-not-to-make-a-face face as he ate a bowl of oatmeal, which apparently he hardly ever eats. So many items and things, and for what? So that they can be torn apart and forgotten almost instantly. I made my mum (for valentines) an apron from fabric that's been lying around since forever. Finally put to good use! (and cute can I say? hahaha) Cards made from letters cut out of newspapers. It's really a thing I've kept up with lately - whenever a newspaper comes into the house and read, I claim it and zone out for a while cutting out the letters (enjoying music) and placing them into little boxes for later use. Makes it easier to put together later and makes for a unique greeting.
