Oh, the joys!
I like winter so well because I love winter sports of sorts.
This is Roommate Jane, Friend Skip, Roommate Alex, Roommate's Boyfriend Aaron, Roommate Bethany, Always Friend Jess and Boyfriend Neal at a Dordt Blades hockey game. Believe it or not, it was the first and only Dordt sporting event I have been to. They were playing the Calvin team. Lots of Christian Reformed rivalry. As my dad suspected, I did enjoy watching a college hockey game. I also liked that it was cold in the arena and that we brought coffee.
And I did indeed get out in the snow that fell last night for a ski today. This is Friend Matthew on his skis infront of a pile of debris from summer construction, a.k.a. tree chopping.
Oh, and there we are. Gotta love the little camera timer pictures.
Speaking of pictures, I put a few into an art sale that was in the mall here in town. Without my planning on it, some of those things, photographs, then got moved to the campus center and chosen by a student jury for a dual college art show. I only found this out when I went to pick up my unsold art and found it on the gallery wall. Ran into an art prof. and he said I should take some art classes. I told him I am gone this next semester, but that I SO regret taking no college art classes. I do so regret it.
