I think that there is only a certain amount of inherent good in each person and when it's used up and passed sins accounted for they are no longer needed on this plane and then they are free to transcend to the next level of consciousness. This is why the Good die young and the Wretched age and stick around. He did so much for Nature and Wildlife... he was simply all used up. I feel for his familly though. They were always very tight. Terri is a very strong woman and mother, this is why he was free to go. She will be torn to peices but she will persevere and raise their children in his way of life.
