It was useless, she knew, as her fangs tipped with venom pierced the soft, yielding flesh of Jonah's white neck. Useless to resist. For the first time in decades Kaya's tongue tasted the sweet, venomous blood of a human being. She knew she shouldn't. Her head bowed, she drank deeply as Jonah groaned something in her ear. This looks lovely! But I think you forgot the rating tag. Since this is an actual story, it needs one. You can find our rules on tagging here. Thank you!

First of all, I love the name Kaya...LOVE LOVE LOVE. So kudos for using it. ;)

I love this premise, whether it be an ending or you could use it for a prologue and tell the "ending" before you get into the story. I think it would fit nicely. (doesn't even have to be a prologue, could be part of the first chapter?)

Also, all kidding aside, there will always be an audience for vampire stories no matter what. It's one of those genres that is everlasting and people are fascinated by it. I think adding the twist of it being "post-apocalyptic" is really interesting. I would read this. :)

(OH and I didn't forget about what you sent me. I can't seem to find a program to open it in the format it is currently in. I am going to have to try on my laptop and I haven't had a chance yet. I will read and advise as soon as possible. 8)

Oh thank you, I like the name Kaya as well. LOL. And I like your ideas for it too, very good things to consider. You're totally right about the genre, that's for sure. And, don't worry! Take your time - I wrote it on Microsoft Office 7 so that's probably why you've been having problems.
