but wouldn't that kill them? it's not their fault i was wading in their river.

besides, i don't think they had started to suck blood yet, there weren't ay marks. do they leave like their teeth in you or something?

i figure thats what would happen (teeth being ripped out), and ive heard that if you rip them off you can cause further pain to yerself, like ripping off extra skin and such. if there was no mark, im sure they hadnt started sucking blood, cause if they had you probably would have been bleeding. i dont know if salt kills them, or just makes them angry and fall off. all ive heard is that thats the most painless and safe way to get them off of ya.

They were very small and didn't hurt at all when i picked them off. i felt it more in the fingers that i used then on my feet.

AMAZING! You are talking about the next big campaign to hit the Animal Rights community. I think a giant leech army going after vivisectors and deforestation and all the other evils of the world would be amazing. I am going back to that river to unionize the leeches.
