Thanksgiving
We had a nice trip to Alabama. The new route was nice and not crowded. We talked to girl child on a regular basis. She won the contest for finding "traffic hazard" first. We were able to put flowers on my parents grave. Took two trips but it looked pretty good.
As usual we ate entirely too much, shopped til we were deaf and exhausted and then played with the youngest while the "children" went to the movies. They said it was really good. Papa had a good time with the little one. She was fascinated with him and just talked her language to him for a good thirty minutes.
Got to see the new house of middle nephew and his family. Enjoyed seeing it and Ally was fun to see. Made us miss Oscar again.
We did miss having everyone else there. Maybe next year the three families missing will be there as well.
Came home with nasty colds and all the stuff that goes with them. Yuck. We will miss choralle practice tonight so that no one else is exposed to this crud. We have practice and performance this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Please put Mama Guffin on your prayers, thought lists. She is experiencing problems again with cancer. She is on her third round of chemo.
We are trying to get the energy to do the Christmas decorations everything is in the living room and the dining room and litterly all over the house. Feel free to come help but wear masks for protection. Maybe come in a week or so and see it after it's all done. i have approximately 90 pieces to Christmas village.
