just a quick question

Gerald & I have just recently started looking at promise rings/ pre- engagement rings recently and he told me to pick one out, which i did, I was thinking it was going to be for christmas or valentines day but when i asked him he said it was too soon (even though we are planning on getting married) and he said he was giving it to me for our 1 year. I thought it was kind of lame, but he claims its romantic to do it then (which it is).. but then again its not an engagement ring.. so i think theres no point if I already picked it out & i know im getting it anyways. Do you think im being greedy or a bitch?.. he said i was acting like a spoiled kid when i asked about it, but its not about the ring, it's about the promise behind it. Is it wrong of me or bitchy of me to feel that way?
