More than Meets the Eye
So how are you guys out in cyberland?
Good? good.
My life has been relatively calm and normal lately. Bills are kicking my ass, but that's nothing new. Skyler has been a doll. I just love that little pookiebear. He is all excited! We are starting Pre-k on August 9th!! Most moms are sad...but I am really looking forward to Sky starting school! Just so much stuff to remember to do....supplies, uniforms?, lunches, sports....etc. It's going to be great though!!
Work is really good these days...not feeling like the slacker I so easily become! Got praise last week for doing a report correctly. (which sounds little...but you know you got to get positive reinforcement wherever you can! right!?!) When things go well at work...things feel good all over the place.
Had a nice time this weekend. Ended up out at the Beans (*correction: thx
brooklynszoo) Saturday night...let the graumets play some...had wings & onion rings! (yummy)
Then us ladies went out to the bars....much fun! Started out at Egans. Then made our way to the Yellowhammer. Lots of fun. I don't know what my issue was but I must have been letting off some kind of pheremones....because I think I got hit on more that night than I have the entire year....what the hell?!? (But it DID feel good...good thing I had my girls there to remind me that I had a man already at home in bed....lol) just playin... Everyone then came to mi casa in the ABC. That was loud & silly.
Monday, Mom was sick so I took Skyman off her hands for a bit. We ended up going out to the Beans for "trailor park lasagna" and the new episode of Big Love. (which was AWESOME!!)
So now it is Tuesday, and things are good.

*So yesterday when I was writing this...I totally spaced. The girls went out Saturday....Friday night T, Cory & I went to see TRANSFORMERS!
It was GOOD let me tell ya! All I could think was..."My brother would SOOOO love this!" Thanks to Jas, I watched all the cool cartoons as a kid...G.I. Joe, He-man, Transformers...at the time I was pissed but so glad now! It was AMAZING seeing the cartoon characters come to life....because we all know....there's "More Than Meets the Eye"
