must haves before i die

i rememeber one of my friends suggesting that i "rent" out my books to friends, like a mini-library except i charge them by the day, to friends who want to read the books, but don't want to spend too much money buying them and then forget about the book once they know what it's all about. she was in awe at my collection of books (which i had started collecting since i was in 3rd grade), and how they take up most of the wall space (and table tops, and spots of the floor). but i can't bring myself to do it. these are my babies, my pride and joy. when i can afford my own place, one of the first things i'll be considering is shelf space. i want a tiny room to myself where i can think and just read. i also have a habit of if i like a certain author, i need to collect all of his/her books. i should learn to stop giving them away though... i just noticed, the paulo coelho books are the ones i keep on giving away! argh!!! the extremes i go to in order to get the people around me to read...

i should make it a point to buy at least one book on business and one book on anything but business every month in order to help balance myself out. i feel like i'm being re-wired to become boring and monotonous... i'm into philpsophy books, so turning inwards and reflecting on why i think the way i think should be a good start. oh! and one filipino author too! since a lot of their works are interesting to say the least, it's a pity most of them go unnoticed.
