Star Trek Reboot (2009/2013/2016)

Long story short: I've never seen anything of the original series, so I came with fresh eyes to the movies. And I absolutely fell in love with all the characters (though Karl Urban's Dr. McCoy is a bit closer than the rest ;)), watching them grow into the characters our parents and grandparents came to love and cherish. Favorite moment so far: Spock meeting Spock (in the first movie)
