(no subject)
My feet are numb, toes feel like they could fall off, dude. I flew home to Idaho to see mom and bring the girls for a couple days. We just got back from taking in the back forty here at mom's farm, and me not thinking, I didn't bring my water proof boots.
The girls are settled down with mom reading "The Night Before Christmas." They're getting two Christmases this year. Today was an early Christmas for us with my side of the family, then tomorrow we fly back to LA to spend the eve with Chris and her new husband. Christmas day I'm not sure what I'll be doing, The girls agreed that we'd let their step dad have the day with them. it's his first Christmas with them and even though I might feel sick every time Elizabeth refers to him as Da, I'm trying to be a man about it and step back this year for them.
Ally doesn't get along too well with him and has made a rather huge fuss about this, but being here in Idaho has made up for it I hope, she seems happy right now, but I know tomorrow it's going to be tears the whole plane ride home.
