[Denny's] Heading Home Because Sydney... ANNOYS

Nov 10, 2006 04:11

Izzie had been huffing her entire way home, silently lecturing herself and trying to convince some imaginary passenger that she was ready to be a surgeon. She had gone through all the paperwork, and the counseling, and she was seeing the hospital appointed therapist too, but of course that just wasn't enough.

Nope. They had to assign Miss Susie Sunshine "I Heal With Love" to be her peer counselor and Izzie had opted to avoid, avoid, avoid in any way that she possibly could. She knew exactly how many pieces were in a Monopoly game now too, which while fun little fact? Didn't actually remove the whole peer counselor problem, because she just sat there. Smiling. Being all... her.

It was annoying. It was wrong. It was just not what Izzie knew she needed. Meredith she could handle, being treated like she was the bottom of the totem pole was fine, but that was something she just couldn't stomach for too long.

It was Dr. Sydney Heron that had become this obstacle that Izzie just wanted to ploy right through, but instead she just ignored her for however long she possibly could, snapped at her and eventually just went home.

She was sure that Denny could hear her tromping up the stairs to his apartment, the fumbling of her keys into the lock and well there wasn't anything really positive coming from the nondistinct words that she was emitting either, "Tells me that it's a growing process.. it's okay not to be fine..."

All of the under the breath huffing stops short just long enough for Izzie to pull her coat off and let it drop to the floor. Her shoes get tugged off one by one and then she proceeds to call out to Denny, "Do you know how many little pieces there are in a Monopoly set? Because I do."
