Hello Everyone!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone!!!!!!!! How are you guys doing? I'm sorry I haven't updated for a while. But that's what happens when you get sucked into a portal and somehow wind up in Japan. It's amazing that I got back alive. You wouldn't believe what happened to me! Those Arabian snipers and kamikaze midgets were something else! Whew! But that story is for another time. Ask me on a rainy day.
The speech meet at North Star yesterday went extremely well. Abbie and I placed 4th in duet and I placed 9th in H.I. What really mixes me up like a jig-saw puzzle though is how we placed 4th. In both of our rounds we placed first. In finals the crowd was really getting into it. They were laughing and having a great time. The judges thought it was funny too. It's okay that we got 4th. Now we can work harder to get 1st! My goal for our team is to sweep. It is possible. If we all break and get first we could definitley sweep. We're going to do it. Yeah!!!!!!!
I just got back from a 7th grade Christmas party I DJed. It was really fun! I mixed it up and played a good variety of music. We had a dance contest, a hoola hoop contest. There were prizes too! I still need some more practice DJing though. DJing pays really well. I got 150 bucks tonight. More importantly I had a great time and the kids did too. Joel was getting his groove on Anne! He made me feel insecure about my dance moves. He also lost his glasses. Nate had a fun time too Sarah Thyparambil! He danced with the ladies and played it cool. All in all it was a success.
Yesterday I got one of the coolest ties I have from my secret speecher! It isn't cooler than my "On A Mission From God Tie" of course but it is a close second. It's a peanuts Christmas tie. It has Charlie Brown and Snoopy decorating a Christmas tree. The best part is it plays jingle bells. It's a musical tie! It lights up and everything! I love it.
Well, I'll try and stay more true to my LJ. I've had a nice break from it but now I'm back.
