(no subject)
Hi everyone!! Sorry I didn't get a chance to update earlier. I didn't know we were going to watch the game over at a friends house. But we won!! The Huskers are on the rebound! But enough about football, to much is bad for your health.
So is it true that we might not have an OID this year? If so that makes me really sad:( I was looking forward to having one. Is it because of lack of people? I still think we should try to have one. I'm ready to give it all I got!
The week went really well for me. On wednesday we had all school testing and I think I did alright. Last week I won in Spanish Bingo too! It was the first time in my life! I got a jolly rancher for the prize! At the Lincoln Lutheran game yesterday the marching band played at it's last home game. It was hilarious! We did a lot of funny stuff. I marched out in front of the drumline marching like one of the drum majors from UNL, you know where they lean back and kick out really high. We played really well too.
Today I went to laser quest for the band party. It was awesome! There was lots of food, pop, and shooting! There were these little kids there for a birthday party that we played against. I think it was their first time playing. I had to help one of them fix their pack because they put it on backwards. They were aggressive players though! Their strategy was to pick one of us and gang up. There were too many!! I actually did pretty good. Better than usual anyway. Afterwards in the parking lot Dr. Ecklund and his wife drove by, stopped and started talking to me. Then I ran into Mrs. Carlson in the fabric store and she asked my opinion about what fabric she should get for the new aprons. I told her it wasn't my area of expertise, but I did my best. She said if everyone hated the fabric it was my fault.
Almost Birthday Sarah Thyparambil!!! I'll be at the party. I wouldn't miss it for the world!
