(no subject)
Hi everyone! Today was very exciting. The best part was Mr. Basset giving me the finger in the library. We were talking about John Roberts being the new Supreme Court Justice. Then we started talking about whether it was constitutional to burn the American flag as freedom of speech. I said no because you aren't speaking verbally. So Mr. Basset gave me the finger and said " I didn't say anything right? But you still understood me." I said "yeah." Mr. Basset is a really good teacher. I thought it was really funny. Not everyone gets the finger from their teacher.
This is my list of funny things teachers have done/said to me so far:
I was punched in the face by Mr. E
I heard Mr. Wilhelm cuss
I was called a young stallion by Mr. Ziems
I have been fired from band several times
I was given the finger by Mr. Basset
That's my list so far. Anyway... After school I practiced The Sure Thing with Abbie. I'm really excited to perform it. We did a really good job for our first practice I think. We're open to suggestions about characterization and anything else that could help. Mr. Smith watched us and said we were good.
I went to dinner with my parent's tonight at applebee's and saw a lot of people at homecoming from Southeast. I actually saw my granma's neighbors daughter there. So I talked to her for a little while. After that I watched Knute Rockne-All American starring Ronald Reagan. It was the first time I heard him speak! It was a really good movie.
